Bio:
An American actress, director and producer. Originally starting off as a child model, she later starred in a television series where her acting career took off. She later transitioned to the big screen where she starred in many well known films, receiving two Academy awards, three BAFTA awards, three Golden globe awards, a screen actors Guild award and Cecil B DeMille award.
